Calendar Card
My mom got a playing card sized calendar card last year from  a charity (or magazine subscription--Audobon Society) she had been giving to, but she had to cut down on her giving (was emptying her bank account). It was the most useful darned thing, I use it as a bookmark in one of those page a day readers that I have. I looked around a lot, and started to ask, but it seems like stores aren't carrying them anymore.

I googled for a printable template, but all I'm finding are just large  and have the lined grid around them. All I want is something that looks like this, just a plain numbers only one. I don't happen to know any businesses that print them or I'd go with that. The printable ones don't look too sharp either, I would like to have one that was like a Word document, but wouldn't know how to set one up. I think I tried once years ago, and it was not looking too sharp. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of the lines and shrink the overall size.

I do have a calendar I got for a dollar, could cut up the little tiny one month ones and do some pasting and copying, but was hoping to avoid that. (I'm talking about the tiny ones like when you are looking at January, it will give you a tiny version of Dec. and Feb. just for reference.

I just don't know any businesses that happen to be giving them away, don't get a lot of junk mail.

[Edit 1-8-13: Well, I did a little more googling and wouldn't you know it I found one that is close enough to what I want. I didn't really want to spend more than a buck, forgot to mention that, but this is it. I wish I had a bit more dough, I'd buy the Etsy one! Thanks for your answers.]

I don't know of any specific businesses that do them, but I want to say either Vistaprint or Moo can do them on the back of a business card for relatively cheap (except you'd end up with a larger quantity than 1 of them lol) sometimes you can request samples of their products though :)

Yes, I saw a lot of '100 for $19.99' stuff. I did find a Microsoft one a little after I posted this and it's almost what I want, I just need to figure out how to shrink the margins in Word, looks pretty promising.

Thanks. I did find a microsoft Word one that's a document rather than a pic, I just have to figure out how to shrink the margins.

Check Etsy? I did a quick search and came up with this one which is metal so I thought that was pretty cool!

Alternatively, every shop you go into, ask for their business card. You might just wind up with the kind you're looking for!

I am liking that one, though not going to pay 5$ for one. I would but just can't spend more than a buck. Etsy has some darn fine things.

I did find a Microsoft Word printout that I hope I can work with, seems to be almost what I want. Of course I didn't find it till after making the post.

Thanks.

My insurance agent sends one every year. Maybe check with one?

That's a good idea, someone mentioned banks too. I live with my mom, no car, she insures the house. I just never thought of it. I did finally find a microsoft word one that looks adjustable, if I can just figure it out. I guess it would work for every year too.

Thanks.

You used to be able to buy them at Hallmark stores sometimes.

It's been a while - but, we used to get little calendar booklets from Hallmark free every year. I think the cards were free, too. Like I said - haven't gotten one in years...so, maybe it's changed.

We don't have any of those around anymore, used to be several in town.

After I posted that I googled a wee bit more and found something kind of like I want.

Thanks.

Ah, no Norm's near me.

I did do more Googling and think I found printable thing that is close to what I want.

Thanks though.

Post offices have them sitting on the counter to take where I live, I might even have a spare sitting around. It would have all the wrong school & public holidays highlighted on it though :P

Oo, never thought of that, thanks.
