smell good

My grandmother has this burlap sack thing the size of a Harry potter book...its been around since i was alive and I'm almost 27. Its the best thing I've ever smelled. I'm guessing its popouree? Its never lost its scent. How so i find good popouree?? I want to make my own. I have no idea where to look. Can i make my own? Will the smell last?
