The house we're buying has an interesting wood in the entire house (cabinets, trim, and closet doors), but it's making it difficult to choose a paint color. The living room, kitchen, and family room all flow into each other and share walls, so I feel like they all need to be the same color. Because the weird wood color, the only thing I can come up with is white, which my husband is not a fan of. Do you have any ideas? I feel like since it needs to be painted the same color, it would be weird with too dark of a color for those three connected rooms.
Here are some pics (mostly from the kitchen since there's so much of the wood there, to give an idea of the color). All the stuff inside is the previous owner's stuff. Ignore the kitchen backsplash and counter, we're going to change that as soon as we have extra money.
